Matthew Street Festival
Cancelled - 2nd August, 2007
The Matthew Street Festival
has been regretfully cancelled for health and safety reasons due to
extensive construction projects taking place in the area. FIRE are
currently looking for alternative gigs in Liverpool or London during that same period.
Special thanks go to 'Rock Lady' for helping us out from the UK.

PRES Malta on Sunday
29th October. The band got the highest votes both from the judges
and the crowd. Thanks for all of you who made it to this event and

Kenneth, Pejxa and Chalee head out
to the PBS studios for a live radio interview with
Brian Micallef during his program 'Rock
Express'. Thanks Brian . . . and . . . ROCK ON !
Yet again . . . another live
interview on XFM radio, this time with Mr. John Bundy replacing Peter Busuttil
on 'Red on X'. During the two hour interview the band discussed the
lengthy process of compiling the Ignite album and how each member started off in
the music scene which led to this current line up. Whilst joking about nearly
all subjects discussed, the members spun their own preferred music to the
listeners such as ACDC, Deep Purple, Whitesnake etc. Thanks for the listeners'
messages and emails during the program and also to Ivan Grech from Wintermoods
for his positive comments :)

FIRE interviewed live by Jason
Zammit on XFM radio 100.2 FM during the "Jay Go Live Big Drive Home".
Kenneth, Charles, Robert and Laurence made it out to the station while
Mr.PeJxa was missing in action (abroad). The band talked about the meaning
behind the single 'Taste This (Rock n' Roll)' and explained to Jay
that Track 6 'Going Down' does not refer to what he was thinking .
. . :)
The interview ended with the
'match' subject. Yeah . . . the 'match' subject ! ! !
That is how man matches did
Kenneth have to light and insert into the Album's Cases ? This led to a
competition where Jay gave out 2 Ignite Albums and 2 T shirts to the
winners.
While thanking all at XFM we
look forward for next Tuesday Interview with Peter Busuttil during his
show 'Red on X' .

First Album coming out

We are currently
working on the replication of our first Album which contains 10
tracks varying from Rock n' Roll, Heavy Metal and Ballad Styles.
The album is entitled IGNITE and should be released during this
summer following an Album Launch Concert.

New Material -
March 10, 2005
After the release of
Mahunter and Make Believe singles, we are not
stopping there ! ! ! We are currently composing and recording new material
at Padded Cell Recording Studio owned by guitarist Robert Longo.
New songs include Behind
Your Eyes, Get Out Of My Way and the recently
composed Going Down.
